Hey lluis, My last name is zak and my family has always been avid surfers. I was googleing our last name and stumbled across this site and the zak surfboards website. It's awesome!I've always been an artist, my self, and super into surfing. It's insane to see that there is a surfboard company called zak surfboads, when i thought i'd never find anyone with that last name in general, because it seemed rare. We live in cali and my whole family loves you art. Now i've got an excuse to go to Australia tho! I'm definitely going to drop down there in the next few years, and i'll make sure to make this place a stop on my trip! But for the art, do you ink with a pen first and then scan it on to the computer, or do you use a computer program?
G'day Nathan, That's pretty funny about the name Zak... The owner of Zak surfboards first name is Zak... I think it's greek or something? but Yeah we get good waves down here so if you ever come down for a holidays go down the Great Ocean Road.. there is some really nice spots down there... only the water is freezing!!!!! heheheI ink my pictures with ink and a brush (Sable brushes for me are the best) then yeah I scan it and get it ready for the printers... I have also inked with Adobe Illustrator but I'm not a big fan of computers... I don't like the finish... looks too slick and not real... so yeah man have you got any of your art I can see?? I'd love to check it out!
